Examples

When we read our Bibles sometimes something will strike us.  When that happens to me, I will write it out and think about it before going on.  For the HOLY SPIRIT takes GOD’s word and explains it to us (1 Corinthians 2:10-13).  HE knows the will of GOD for our lives so knows what we need to hear (Romans 8:27).

“For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning” (Romans 15:4).  “These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us” I Corinthians 10:11).

Within the Bible are many truths and the truth that GOD never changes (Malachi 3:6, James 1:17) shows us that within the history we read of in the Bible we learn eternal principles of how GOD works.

When reading the Bible and a verse or section seems to jump off the page it is speaking to you.  If it doesn’t seem to fit exactly a situation you or another are in, look for the principle shown in the text and you will find some understanding.  It may be just to calm your own spirit, or it may be for another.

I have found that if I see something and understand it but don’t know where to apply.  I write it down and something will come up later where I will need that verse or principle.

Even though I have read through the bible many times, every day I open the Word of GOD with expectancy and GOD speaks to me through HIS word.  Sometimes it is something I had not seen before, sometimes confirmation where there have been questions, sometimes comfort but every time HE meets with me there through the HOLY SPIRIT and gets me ready for the day.

The LORD wants to meet with you too, so open HIS word and ask HIM to come meet you there.

Why?

But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration (HOLY SPIRIT) of the ALMIGHTY gives them understanding (Job 32:8).

(JESUS) The true light, which gives light to everyone (John 1:9 ESV)

Deuteronomy 30:11 For this commandment which I command you this day, it is not hidden from you, neither is it far off.  14 But the word is very near you, in your mouth, and in your heart, that you may do it.

Romans 1:19 Because that which may be known of GOD is manifest in them; for GOD has shewed it to them. 20 For the invisible things of HIM from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and GODHEAD; so that they are without excuse:

Now if all know, why are not all saved?

Romans 10:9 ESV IF you confess with your mouth that JESUS is LORD (Master/ Ruler) and believe in your heart that GOD raised HIM from the dead, you will be saved.

There seems to be 2 qualifying conditions.

1-Confessing that JESUS is LORD (Master or Ruler) over you and the worlds.

2-believing in your heart (not just head knowledge or assent)

In the bible the word believe often means more than just mental assent to a fact.  There are exceptions to that rule for the devils believe there is a GOD and tremble (James 2:17).

Belief that saves says aloud (confesses) JESUS YOU are my LORD (Master) alluding to a desire to follow JESUS’ directions.

Believing that saves also comes out of the heart indicating love.  We love HIM because HE 1st loved us (1 John 4:19).

Belief that equals faith is defined in Hebrews 11:But without faith it is impossible to please HIM (GOD): for he that comes to GOD must (1) believe that HE is, and (2) (believe) that HE (GOD) is a rewarder of them that diligently seek HIM.

Saving faith trusts GOD.  It trusts that GOD is good, in control, has an eternal plan and loves us.

Now, although every person who comes into this world has been given light (understanding), some refuse it.

Romans 1:18 they choose not to accept GOD’s true message (EASY)/ suppressing (Pushing away/ holding down) the truth (ESV).   21 Because that, when they knew GOD, they glorified HIM not as GOD, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

2 Thessalonians 2:10 them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

John 3:16 For GOD so loved the world, that HE gave HIS only begotten SON (JESUS), that whosoever believes in HIM (trusts JESUS’ saving work on the cross when HE died for their sins) should not perish, but have everlasting life. 36 He that believes on (trusts in the work of) the SON has everlasting life: and he that believes not (refuses to believe and turns away from) the SON shall not see life; but the wrath of GOD abides/ remains on him.

The choice is ours.  I choose JESUS. How about you?

What time is it?

So much is happening all around the world, yet we know what time period we are in, for GOD the FATHER tells us in Hebrews 1:1 that previously HE spoke to people through prophets but now in these last days HE speaks to us through HIS SON (JESUS CHRIST our LORD).

Now the (HOLY) SPIRIT speaks expressly that in the latter time (this time we are now in) will be a time of seducing spirits and the doctrines of devils (1 Timothy 4:1).

Have you ever pondered the truth JESUS proclaimed when HE rebuked Peter declaring man’s thinking comes from Satan (Matthew 16:23)? Ephesians 2:2 also states the world’s way of thinking, its wisdom is from the prince of the power of the air working within them. The world’s thinking comes from and is what the devil thinks!

JESUS emphatically declared, “Why do you not understand MY words? Even because you cannot hear MY word.  You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do” (John 43-44)

2 Corinthians 4:3 But, if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:  In whom the god of this world (the devil) has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of CHRIST, who is the image of GOD, should shine unto them.

We become blind when we turn away from what GOD says to what Satan says. Satan’s deception of Eve, which caused her blindness, was simply telling her what he himself thought. “I will be like the Most HIGH” (Isaiah 14:14).  The devil told her, “you shall be like GOD” (Genesis 3:5).  You see HE gives men his very own thoughts, but he does not reveal his aim for he is a deceiver and a liar.

In the New Testament the Greek word, daimonia, refers to the gods of the world. It’s not surprising that this Greek word for gods in the New Testament is actually the same word translated as “demons.” There is a very important revelation here and one to be taken very seriously.

The gods of the world are embodiments and representatives of demonic beings. That doesn’t just go for ancient religions; the modern world has its gods, too. Doors are opened to the demonic in the form of materialism, alcoholism, sensuality, lust, pornography, love of money, greed, position (jealousy) and control (anger and manipulation). When you indulge in these things, you are actually worshipping and serving demons (1 Corinthians 10:21, Revelation 9:20)

That is a horrible thing! You should have nothing to do with it. Any idol is a god, and any god except for the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY of the Bible is a demon. The very thought that you are serving the demonic should be enough to make you get any unclean, unholy thing or thought out of your life once and for all! There is only One True and Living God who is the source of everything good (James 1:17). Every other source is just demonic.

The natural mind, the worldly mind, is under the influence of Satan and thinks GOD’s words are foolishness (1 Corinthians 1:18-23). It cannot understand GOD’s words without the HOLY SPIRIT’s conviction explaining sin, what is right, and the coming judgment to them (John 16:8).

Only GOD knows what HE is thinking.  No one, not even believers in JESUS can understand GOD’s thoughts without GOD the HOLY SPIRIT explaining them to us (1 Corinthians 2:10-14).  If you question that statement, check out Acts 1:2.

The 1st time I really saw what Acts 1:2 said, it blew me away.  JESUS, GOD the SON, was giving the apostles, one HE had personally chosen, commandments. But only as the HOLY SPIRIT explained JESUS meaning to them, did they know what JESUS meant.  Wow!

Satan is included in that no one can understand the words of GOD (even though he knows and misquotes the bible) without GOD the HOLY SPIRIT explaining GOD’s word to him. For the devil is a created being and not GOD (1 Corinthians 2:11,14).

Although Satan is very intelligent and has thousands of years of experience, and knows man well, the devil cannot understand GOD’s plans or GOD’s Word. That is clearly shown in 1 Corinthians 2:8 “Which none of the princes (demons) of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the LORD of glory.”

I encourage you, every morning go to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16) and ask GOD  in JESUS name to keep you from all deception.  For we are commanded to: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8).

How come?

Sometimes I have explained something to a person and the hearer gets a blank look on her face as if she has no clue what I am talking about.  Must be something like I would have looked before I got my hearing aids (LOL).

The other day one was on my porch discussing the Bible and spoke how he had gone to church for years and none of it made any sense to him.  False teachers came by, and he understood what they said.

How come?

The bible explains why. The world understands the world’s thoughts, but no one can understand GOD’s thoughts without GOD explaining it to us.

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which GOD has prepared for them that love HIM. 10 But GOD has revealed them unto us by HIS SPIRIT: for GOD the SPIRIT searches all things, yes, the deep things of GOD. 11 For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of GOD knows no man, but the SPIRIT of GOD (reveals them to him). 12 Now we have received (when we believed in JESUS -Ephesians 1:13), not the spirit of the world (which is under the power of Satan Ephesians 2:2, I John 5:19), but the (HOLY) SPIRIT which is of GOD; that we might know the things that are freely given to us by GOD.

In The Bondage of the Will, Martin Luther explains flippant attitudes toward the Bible: “Nobody who has not the SPIRIT of GOD sees a jot of what is in the Scriptures. All men have their hearts darkened, so that, even when they can discuss and quote all that is in Scripture, they do not understand or really know any of it.”

The same is true if one has grieved GOD the HOLY SPIRIT by not using what he has been taught so is not ready to learn more.  We must go to GOD with 1 John 1:9. It is not that the HOLY SPIRIT leaves a believer for believers are sealed until the day of Redemption (Ephesians 4:30), but we have turned our back to HIM by disobedience and are not listening.

Therefore, if you are having trouble or someone you are speaking with is having trouble understanding the Word of GOD, ask GOD for the HOLY SPIRIT to explain it to you or who you are talking to (1 John 5:16, Luke 11:13).

Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: How

much more shall your heavenly FATHER give the HOLY SPIRIT to them that ask him?

Are you asking?

Eyes to see

Wanting to get to California to see my mom, we were driving along the highway at night.  Being very tired we were startled when, seemingly out of nowhere, there was a deer in the middle of the mountain road.  He just stood there like a statue, frozen in place, looking directly at us.  By breaking, swerving, and praying, we were barely able to miss him.

Have you ever been baffled when trying to explain something, that seems simple and crystal clear to you, but the other person looked like a deer staring into headlights (seems confused, and clearly without a clue as to what you are talking about)?

That happened in a class I was teaching, when someone visited for the 1st time.  Without the background information from studying the 1st 12 chapters, I totally understood how the lesson could seem confusing, perhaps even baffling.  I was so glad for the warm coffee, and yummy treats, so the gal at least could enjoy them.

Why is there confusion?  Why can’t people always understand what is being said?  Well, it all began way back when people thought they knew what was best for them and wanted to do their own thing.  (sounds a bit like what is happening today, doesn’t it?)  Wanting to stay put and make a name for themselves, they flatly refused to obey the Almighty Creator’s instructions to fill the earth. Therefore, in order to get the people to scatter, according to HIS specific plan and purposes, GOD confused their languages (Genesis 11:1-9).  No longer could they understand one another,

It is so important to listen and act when GOD tells us something.  For when we turn away from what GOD has shown us, we have literally turned our back to GOD.  We are facing the dark and walking in the dark, but don’t know it.  In this state, we can easily stumble and fall.

When we come to JESUS, we are given light (understanding).  As we consistently seek HIM, our understanding grows by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT (2 Corinthians 3:18).  But even then, we only know in part (1 Corinthians 13:12).  So need to ask HIM to show us more.

“Then JESUS opened their understanding that they might understand the Scriptures.” Luke 24:45

“The secret (or hidden) things belong to our GOD; but the things that are revealed (made clear to us) belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all ( GOD has for us to do)…” Deuteronomy 29:29

The ability to see, to hear, to understand things as they really are, is a pure gift from GOD.  Like the Apostle Paul, we need to ask GOD to open the eyes of our understanding (Ephesians 1:18) day after day. GOD always will show us all we need to know to do what HE wants us to do.

At times as I open my Bible I will ask through singing.

Open the eyes of my heart LORD.  Open the eyes of my heart, I want to see You, I want to see You.

Open the eyes of my heart LORD.  Open the eyes of my heart, I want to see You, I want to see You.

To see You high and lifted up, Shining in the light of Your glory.

Pour out Your Power and Love as we sing Holy, Holy, Holy.

Holy, Holy, Holy.  Holy, Holy, Holy.  Holy, Holy, Holy I want to see You

If others are baffled by what seems so clear to you, you can help them understand by praying that their eyes be opened too.

Looking unto JESUS, the Author and Perfecter of my faith.

GOD made man upright

“… I found, that GOD made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions/ schemes” (Ecclesiastes 7:29).

Ever heard, or felt or even said, “I want to do it my way?” Starting with Eve, yes, from the beginning of time the Bible records that people consistently choose to “do what is right in their own eyes” (Judges 17:6).  And that is what gets them and us into trouble.  To do what was right in our own eyes we must turn away from what was right in GOD’s eyes.

Some may think it narrow, but since all wisdom and knowledge come from GOD, HE really does know what is best and what will bring each of us the greatest satisfaction and fulfillment.  According to Romans 3:23 to do less than GOD’s standard is sin.

Are there any reading this like me and many I know who have loved ones and friends who are making poor choices-doing what is right in their own eyes? And they won’t listen to reason?

The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23) and each person must make their own choices.  Yet GOD loves people who HE has made in HIS own image with, among other qualities, the abilities to reason and choose.  GOD says there is something we can and really should do as HE seeks to turn them around!

Like as a father pities HIS children, so the Lord pities them that fear HIM.  For HE knows our frame; HE remembers that we are dust” (Psalm 103:13-14).  GOD wants us to stand the gap before HIM for those who are doing their own thing (Ezekiel 22:30).  For their sins separates them from GOD (Isaiah 59:2) so they cannot hear HIM.

How can we stand the gap?  As Moses stood before the LORD to turn away HIS anger (Psalm 106:23) from the Jews, so we can intercede for our loved ones and friends going their own way and doing their own thing through confession of the sin and by appealing to GOD’s mercy and grace.

1 John 5:16 “If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and HE shall give him life for them that sin not unto death”

You might ask well how do I know if it is a sin unto death?  “Now it is appointed unto ALL men to die once” (Hebrews 9:27) so it is quite clear 1 John 5:16 must be speaking of the 2nd death.  According to Revelation 20:14-15 the only sin that leads to the 2nd death is refusing to believe in JESUS and get written into the Lamb’s book of life.  So, any other sin we can ask the FATHER to forgive our loved one so they can see the truth.

Sin separates us from GOD (Isaiah 59:2) and from understanding truth, since we have turned our back on GOD when we turn from HIS truth.  Only GOD can open eyes to truth (1 Corinthians 2:10-12) so they can choose to escape the lies that have blinded them to truth (2 Timothy 2:25-26).

“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly FATHER give the HOLY SPIRIT to them that ask him? Luke 11:13.

It works this way. As we confess the sins of our loved ones, GOD our FATHER sends the HOLY SPIRIT to explain truth to them.  Yes, they can reject the truth.  So, what do we do?  We keep praying and praying and over and over they will be shown the truth in hopes that eventually they will receive the love of the truth.  This is one of GOD’s amazing ways (Isaiah 55:8-11) that brings results!  For HIS Word that goes forth from HIS mouth shall not return to HIM empty but it shall accomplish that which HE wants and it will prosper in the thing HE sends it to do.

Is there someone that comes to mind that you should join with GOD in seeking by standing the gap before HIM in confession and prayer for them?

Assurance comes from understanding

When we listen to GOD by obeying HIS directions, HE’ll help us navigate even life’s most troubled waters.

Another crisis hit today quite out of the blue and yet understanding GOD is still in control kept me in control!  Scriptures came to mind and I knew how to pray.  There is peace but there will be a lot more praying until the situation is over.  The peace and assurance came from knowing GOD and understanding some of HIS ways and trusting HIS control.

Come to think of it reminds me of last week’s lesson in Friday’s life group.  In our lesson last week in Colossians 2:2 one of the 4 things Paul desires for the Colossians is that they attain to the full assurance/confidence, deep conviction that comes from understanding/when all the dots connect.    You may not know all the facts but understand GOD does.  That is faith.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1 KJ)

“Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends/ understands as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses] (Hebrews 11:1 AMP).

Hearing from HOLY SPIRIT is the only way we can have that kind of faith with the assurance and deep conviction that knowing something is what GOD wills so is something HE will do.

And this is the confidence that we have in HIM, that, if we ask any thing according to HIS will, HE hears us (1 John 5:14).

That kind of faith only comes when GOD HIMSELF, through the HOLY SPIRIT, speaks to us (through confirmation within us often when reading HIS written Word the Bible).  It may come by just knowing what GOD wants or as a nudge telling us to do something.  The more time we spend with GOD in HIS word and prayer the quicker we recognize HIS still small voice when HE tells us to turn to the right hand or the left (Isaiah 30:21).

You see HE writes what HE wants in our minds-so we know, and places them in our hearts-so we can trust HIM for it (Philippians 2:13, Hebrews 10:16).  You can be certain that HE will never tell us to go against HIS written word.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word (Rhema=spoken word for a specific situation) of CHRIST (Romans 10:17).

Please pray with me that truth come to light and expose all the lies.

Thank you and hugs

Sharon

Who is right?

Who is right?  How should I react?

I settled down with my Bible on the little chaise lounge I’d set up under the shade of my towering blue spruce. Glancing around I praised GOD for the beauty of the place HE has given me: the green grass, the fragrant Ellicott pink roses, my peach and cherry trees and over the backyard fence I could see many other trees, with different kinds of birds swooping down into my backyard to get the treats my girls throw out for them and to drink from the large flattish bowl of water we keep filled for them and the squirrels who playfully chase one another and scamper up and down the trees and swing by the branches besides drinking and eating from what has been prepared for them.  I thanked the LORD for the show they had put on and then settled down to read where I’d left off.

King David was dead, and his son King Solomon had just burned sacrifices to the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.  And GOD asked Solomon, “What shall I give you?”

Solomon said (paraphrased) YOU have made me king over YOUR chosen people, a people too numerous to be numbered and I am but a child.  “Therefore, give YOUR servant an understanding heart…that I may discern between good and evil..” (1 Kings 3:7-9).

I knew I was to pray that prayer, not because I am a king but I am GOD’s child, a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, a friend and Bible teacher and I need wisdom and understanding to glorify GOD with discernment in each of those relationships.  So, I asked my GOD for an understanding heart to discern.

Almost immediate a situation came to mind that I had asked the LORD about and I could see by Bible verses coming to mind what GOD was doing and how I was to relate to those involved.

Praising the LORD, another situation about 2 in conflict came to mind and the LORD brought to mind Barnabas and Paul’s conflict that GOD used to separate them so HE could send them in opposite directions to the places HE had assigned for them to walk (Acts15:36-40, Ephesians 2:10).  By this I understood that as Romans 8:28 declares that GOD uses the good and bad, in fact all things stirring them together for an end result of good.

The light came on and I understood then that this conflict of those I love was being used for HIS purposes and now I know how to respond to each of them.

You might wonder how I knew.  GOD says that if you acknowledge HIM (talk to HIM about) in everything HE will direct your path (Proverbs 3:5).  For days I had asked HIM how to relate in both of the situations and was awaiting leading.  But as I prayed as King Solomon did, GOD gave the answer.

It amazes me that GOD says in Deuteronomy 30:11-14, Romans 10:8, Hebrews 10:16 and Philippians 2:13 the same thing that for a believer seeking answers from HIM, GOD places within them the awareness of what they should do and promises the ability to do it.

Our job in all that is 1st to acknowledge HIM in all things not leaning on our own understanding but pushing our ideas aside and talking to GOD  about whatever.  Then going with the nudges HE gives even if they sound crazy, (Proverbs 3:5-7) in that way we will work out what HE has told us to do (Philippians 2:12).

Don’t let the words with fear and trembling from Philippians 2:12 throw you for it simply means we fear being/doing wrong so must get our walking papers from GOD and tremble at the wonder of GOD calling us to co-labor with HIM the Creator of the Universes in influencing others and perhaps, as Ephesians 3:10 suggests, even co-labor with HIM as HE teaches angels.

Resting in the wonder of what GOD is and HIS amazing ways.

It makes no sense.

It doesn’t make any sense!

When unbelievers say the Bible makes no sense that is right on. For we are told that only through the HOLY SPIRIT’s interpretation to men can they understand the things of GOD.

The HOLY SPIRIT comes to us as a teacher and seals us when we believe in JESUS and call on HIS name -Ephesians 1:13-14, I Corinthians 2:10-12, Romans 10:13).  From that point on we have the Mind of GOD living in us to explain things to us (1 Corinthians 2:16).

Though it is clear that grasping the truths of GOD and HIS word is progressive- here a little, there a little, line upon line (2 Corinthians 3:18, 2 Peter 1:1-4).  Yet many believers struggle with making any sense of what they read in the Bible, so have quit reading.

While talking with the LORD this morning about some who say they know JESUS but don’t read the Bible because it doesn’t make any sense to them, 2 Corinthians 3:16.  Then I heard a still small whisper, “Sharon, what about the times you sit down with your Bible and it makes no sense?”

That is a good point.

“Nevertheless, when someone shall turn to the LORD, the veil (that keeps them from understanding the Scriptures) is taken away (see 2 Corinthians 3:14,16).

This was speaking about why Jews don’t understand the Old Testament.  But since the Bible says things happened to the Jews for our learning, those truths apply to us too.

1 Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Romans 15:4  For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Therefore, when an unbeliever accepts the LORD they get the HOLY SPIRIT who opens up their understanding of the Scriptures and the ways of GOD.

Now that whisper I got about times reading the Bible is like looking at a book in a foreign language I have not learned… I take certain steps.  At those times if I turn in prayer to the LORD and ask HIM what is blocking me from understanding (for I know I can grieve or quench the HOLY SPIRIT). GOD will show me.

The believers who struggles with getting anything from their reading of the Bible perhaps would be helped if they turned to the LORD and simply asked “Why LORD?” If they are willing to do whatever the LORD brings to their minds GOD promises to show them (John 7:17).

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of GOD, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraids not (doesn’t bring up the past); and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers (I’ll do it if it sounds good, I won’t if it doesn’t) is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.  For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the LORD.  A double minded man (one only willing to do what agrees with his thinking) is unstable in all his ways” (James 1:5-8).

Opens our eyes

Isn’t it frustrating when someone doesn’t understand what you mean?

Have you ever been baffled when trying to explain something to someone that seems so very clear to you but the other person doesn’t have a clue what you mean?

I think that it is a given that we all have experienced. But why?

“But their eyes were held that they should not know HIM” Luke 24:16

That word held in the Greek text speaks of a superior power hindering them from recognizing JESUS and reveals to us that GOD- (the giver of all good things), when HE chooses, can refuse to give us the ability to see things as they really are. In other words HE can block our vision if there is a purpose in it for GOD does nothing without a just and good reason (see Ezekiel 14:23).

Deuteronomy 29:4 “Yet the LORD has not given you a heart to perceive, and eyes to see and ears to hear, unto this day.”

Deuteronomy 29:29 “The secret (or hidden) things belong to our GOD; but the things that are revealed (made clear to us) belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all ( GOD has for us to do)…”

“…their eyes were opened and they knew HIM. (JESUS)” Luke 24:31

“Then JESUS opened their understanding that they might understand the Scriptures.” Luke 24:45

“But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:” 1 Corinthians 2:10.

We can only understand the truths of GOD as the HOLY SPIRIT interprets them for us.

Our ability to see, to hear, to understand things as they really are is a gift from GOD. Therefore, like Paul, we need to ask for GOD to open the eyes of our understanding (Ephesians 1:18)

I often do it with the song: Open the Eyes of My Heart LORD

Open The Eyes Of My Heart LORD Open The Eyes Of My Heart I Want To See You I Want To See You Open The Eyes Of My Heart LORD Open The Eyes Of My Heart I Want To See You I Want To See You To See You High And Lifted Up Shining In The Light Of Your Glory Pour Out Your Power And Love As We Sing Holy, Holy, Holy Open the eyes of my heart LORD Holy, Holy, Holy Holy, Holy, Holy Holy, Holy, Holy I want to see you

So if others are baffled by what seems so clear to us we need to pray that their eyes be opened too.
