During a difficult time I went and sat alone on a hill under a tall Ponderosa Pine I opened my Bible and began reading in Isaiah. All of a sudden the words seemed to jump off the page and speak directly to me. It was a promise and a call.
“The LORD GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary; morning by morning HE wakens my ear to hear as one who is taught. the LORD has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away.” Isaiah 50:4-5
Coming to JESUS and learning more about HIM and GOD our Heavenly FATHER has totally changed the way I see and do things (2 Peter 1:1-4). I love meeting with GOD in HIS word and often through HIS word or bringing things to my remembrance HE speaks to me and then sends me out to share it.
