Out of nothing

My heart was heavy this morning, grieving as I focused on a situation.  It looked hopeless, like Moses with the Egyptians chasing them from behind and the red Sea blocking them from going forward there seemed to be no hope. So, I ran to the throne thanking JESUS for opening the way through HIS blood. Pouring out my grief and crying out for the LORD to strengthen my faith to endure, I knew I needed to open the Word to hear my LORD’s voice more clearly.  I began reading- it calmed me, so I kept reading.  In the next chapter GOD spoke.

“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of GOD so that things that are seen, were not made of things that do appear (are visible)” (Hebrews 11:3).

GOD impressed in my heart, “Sharon, I don’t need anything to do what I promised you.  Don’t look at the things you can see for they are temporary, but, like JESUS on the cross(Hebrews 12:2) look ahead to what you cannot see, that which I promise to achieve through these troubles, for they will last forever (2 Corinthians 4:15-18).

Nothing is too hard for GOD nor does anything surprise HIM.  As GOD had the way for Moses and the Jews through the Red Sea already prepared for them, so HE has the way prepared ahead for us.  Let’s trust HIM.

Consider these things and may the LORD guide you with HIS peace (Colossians 3:15), strengthen you with HIS joy (Nehemiah 8:10)and enable you with HIS grace (Hebrews 4:16). Keep looking unto JESUS (Hebrews 12:2) and talk over your thoughts with HIM (2 Corinthians 10:5).

Hugs

Sharon
