Well today I kept busy making masks to be worn by my family and me whenever we leave the house. Even when I walk around the park across the street to exercise.
Today as I was walking another passed by going in the opposite direction and socially distanced of course. I remarked to him, “This looks like something out of a science fiction movie.” Actually, the restrictions and guidelines are surreal/ bizarre, as if we are in a dream. But we are not.
We who know JESUS as our LORD do not need to be afraid. The best way to fight fear is to quote aloud bible verses for there is power in the Word of GOD. Hearing it strengthens our faith (Romans 10:17) and it is the sword of the SPIRIT that makes the devil (who has been mocking and tempting us to fear) run.
I write down verses when they strike me, and often will go over and over them until they are memorized.
